The 2025 Mayhem Classic is an official CrossFit Games qualifying event set to take place at CrossFit Mayhem on 5–6 April 2025.

Once a fan favourite in the CrossFit Sanctionals era, the Mayhem Classic is back on the competition floor in 2025, reloaded and reimagined, and ready to kick off the season for elite fitness events worldwide.

A Quick Look Back

The original Mayhem Classic was part of the CrossFit Sanctionals circuit.

Held at CrossFit Mayhem in Cookeville, Tennessee, the home base of four-time Fittest Man on Earth Rich Froning, it symbolised old-school grit with a passionate crowd and an athlete-first ethos.

The return of the Mayhem Classic in 2025 marks more than just a date on the CrossFit calendar. It’s a celebration of everything the community loves about the sport: resilience, camaraderie, and that unique blend of chaos and joy you only get when the fittest people on Earth throw down in a barn (or, this time, a world-famous and legendary gym).

Both athletes set the tone with well-paced, consistent performances. Stanley’s endurance and Hatfield’s grit earned them early leads.

Domit looked calm and dominant under the barbell, while Malheiros, known for his explosive lifting, crushed the event with smooth reps.

Saghafi executed near-perfect pacing. Hatfield again proved his dominance with quick, unbroken thrusters and efficient climbs.

Rolfe unleashed on the final bike sprint and edged out the field. Khrennikov exploded from the start and never let up, claiming the fastest time of the weekend.
